Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

1. Return Policy

If you change your mind or order the wrong product, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please email info@cartechstore.ca within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include:

• Order Number or Invoice Number
• Product Name
• Reason for the return

Our Customer Support team will review your request and provide you with the return shipping address along with further instructions.

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, products must:

• Be returned within 14 days of delivery.
• Be unused and in their original condition.
• Include all original packaging, manuals, accessories, and documentation.
• Be free from physical damage, misuse, or signs of installation, unless the product is being returned due to a confirmed defect.

Returns that do not meet these conditions may not qualify for a refund or replacement.

3. Product-Specific Return Conditions

Electronics & Automotive Accessories

This category includes, but is not limited to:

• Dash Cameras
• Mirror Dash Cameras
• CarPlay Systems
• Auto Lighting
• Jump Starters
• EV Charger Adapters
• Parking Sensors
• Memory Cards
• Hardwire Kits
• Mounting Accessories
• Other Automotive Electronics & Accessories

These products are eligible for return provided they meet the Return Eligibility requirements outlined above.

Paint Protection Film (PPF), Window Tint & Vinyl Wraps

Due to the nature of automotive films, additional conditions apply. The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

• Custom-cut Paint Protection Film (PPF)
• Custom-cut Window Tint Film
• Custom-cut Vinyl Wrap
• Products cut to customer-requested dimensions
• Installed products
• Opened or partially used rolls
• Clearance or Final Sale items

Standard unopened rolls may be returned within 14 days if they remain unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.

4. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping. Customers are required to:

• Create their own return shipping label.
• Ship the product to the return address provided by CarTechStore.ca.

Return Shipping Covered by CarTechStore.ca

CarTechStore.ca will cover the cost of return shipping only if:

• You received the wrong product.
• The product arrived damaged during shipping.
• The product is confirmed to be defective or not functioning properly.

Our support team will review your claim and determine whether return shipping costs will be covered before the return process begins.

5. Refund Policy

Once your returned product has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. If your return is approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7 business days after the inspection has been completed.

Please note that your financial institution or payment provider may require additional time for the refund to appear in your account. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is the result of an error on our part.

6. Warranty Policy

Most electronic products sold by CarTechStore.ca are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty coverage begins on the original purchase date.

7. Warranty Eligibility

To submit a warranty claim, you must:

• Have purchased the product directly from CarTechStore.ca.
• Provide a valid Order Number or Invoice Number.
• Contact our Customer Support team before returning any product.

To begin a warranty claim, email info@cartechstore.ca with:

• Order Number or Invoice Number
• Description of the issue
• Photos or videos showing the problem (if applicable)

Our team will review your claim and provide further instructions.

8. Warranty Exclusions

The manufacturer's warranty does not cover:

• Improper installation
• Incorrect wiring
• Physical damage
• Misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents
• Water or liquid damage (unless specifically covered by the manufacturer)
• Fire, power surges, or other external causes
• Products modified or repaired by unauthorized persons
• Normal wear and tear
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect product performance

For Paint Protection Film (PPF), Window Tint, and Vinyl Wrap products, the warranty also excludes:

• Installation damage
• Stretching, tearing, or contamination during installation
• Improper storage or handling
• Damage caused by incorrect cleaning or maintenance
• Normal environmental wear

9. Replacement Policy

If a product is confirmed to be defective under the applicable manufacturer's warranty, CarTechStore.ca may, at its discretion:

• Repair the product;
• Replace it with the same model;
• Replace it with an equivalent model;
• Issue a store credit; or
• Issue a refund where appropriate.

All warranty claims are subject to product inspection and, where applicable, manufacturer approval.

10. Important Information

• Please inspect your order upon delivery and report any shipping damage or missing items as soon as possible.
• Warranty coverage is subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.
• Products returned without prior authorization may be refused.
• CarTechStore.ca reserves the right to inspect all returned products before approving any refund, replacement, or warranty claim.
• We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
